You can sometimes see really good emerging teams in this competition and its has transformed into a super good practice tournament for teams to cultivate growth, unity, punctuality, patience, and something monetary rewarding perhaps at the end of the tournament if you win champion or 2nd place. The possible best part of GO4 is the retrieval of the prize that is so super hasslefree, and also ESL admins are super approachable and welcome any questions or difficulties that your team may face, they are actually just round the corner and will assist you the soonest they can.

With such a friendly environment and a good chance for your new or existing team to establish their name, do not wait to sign up for this week’s Go4 and who knows… maybe your new roster can become the week’s champion. If a new roster cannot find good scrims on a good Sunday, when all the qualifiers are taking place at the same time, teams could try Go4 instead, and thats exactly what i did with my new managed teams.”

Numerous teams across many titles have already taken the competitive leap and are proving themselves against like-minded competition. We caught up with one of the Go4CS:GO regulars, Boom eSports.

Team captain Rainer “2rare2die” Selge from Boom eSports:
“The main reason we started to compete in the Go4CS:GO series was to get better opponents to practice against. Ever since we got to the top 3 position we have started to go there with the mission to achieve constant top 3 positions. For the team, it is a good place to prepare for bigger events and prepare mentally for long gaming days. Having looked up players who have gotten their career start from it, I think it’s a good stepping stone for something bigger.”

The initial tournament will be taking place on August 15th and continuing on for another 15 weeks. The Go4 Rainbow Six series will allow UK console players to face off against one another week by week in high end, high intensity Rainbow Six Siege action along with each platform having its own £1300 prize pool every 4 weeks meaning over £5,000 is up for grabs across the entire series!

How it works

• Teams will accrue points for placing within the top 16 every week and the weekly winners on each platform also earn themselves £100.
• The top eight teams with the most points will play in the Go4 Final every fourth Tuesday.
• The two final Go4 Final teams go head to head for their share of the £1,000 grand prize pool

What is Warface?

Warface is a role-based first person shooter, offering a variety of “Co-op” and “Versus” modes for players to master their skills and succeed on the battlefield. As rifleman, sniper, medic or engineer, players have to complete set objectives in order to win a match. The Go4 tournaments are free to play and open to players and teams at any skill level. While competing in the cups, you score points for better seedings in the follow up cups as well as the monthly finals, seeing the best participants face each other once more for the lion’s share of the prize pools.

As usual in our Go4 series’, there are four to five cups per month for you to score Go4 points and earn some cash along the way. The lion’s share of the prize pool will be given out to the top two of the monthly finals, where the eight best teams of the month clash once more, with €600 on the line for the winner and €300 for the runner-up.

After a successful opening cup last Friday, where over 350 teams fought for the top, this is the next step for Overwatch on a promising way to make it to the top games in esports. For those wanting to test their skills with no tournament pressure, over 150 teams are waiting to be challenged by you in our monthly Open Ladder or other cups.
